How to report PRS
Freenotes tracks are totally free to use on all broadcast TV and radio productions, all you need to do is pick a track, mix it and then report the PRS - easy!
When you submit a radio or television commercial to the broadcaster you normally have to submit PRS details of the music you use. This costs you nothing, you just give the broadcaster details of the Freenotes track you have used:
- The name of the track
- The composers
- The publisher
Details of these can be found on each Freenotes CD or via this website, whenever you download a track.
We obtain an income from PRS who issue a blanket licence to the broadcaster for music use. The main point is it costs you nothing to use Freenotes, so just pick it, mix it, log it – easy! |
